Product Description   Gears are closed- or open-die forged from vacuum-degassed alloy steels (20CrMnTi, 42CrMo, 18CrNiMo7-6) into blanks Ø 200–2 000 mm, modules 8–50, weight ≤ 15 t. Preforming distributes material to the rim, finish forging forms teeth, hub and web in one heat, giving a near-net shape that needs only finish hobbing and grinding.     Performance Quench-temper achieves 750–1 100 MPa UTS, core hardness 250–310 HB; case carburising produces 58–62 HRC tooth surface with 2–4 mm effective case depth. Impact energy ≥ 35 J at –40 °C meets AGMA 6011, ISO 6336 and API 677. 100 % UT to EN 10228-3 and magnetic particle to ASTM E709 ensure freedom from cracks or segregations.   Features Continuous grain flow along tooth profile doubles bending fatigue life compared with cut-from-bar gears; root fillet cold-rolling after heat treatment adds 20 % extra capacity. As-forged allowance 1.5–3 mm per flank reduces machining time 30 % and cutter consumption 25 %. Custom bore, keyway and s…
