Product Description Low carbon alloy forged rounds are produced from 0.05–0.30 % C billets micro-alloyed with Mn, Cr, Ni or Mo (total ≤ 3 %). Open-die or cross-rolling delivers 80–1 000 mm Ø, ≤12 m length, ≥4:1 reduction ratio, eliminating cast porosity and yielding 360° grain flow.     Performance Normalise or Q&T gives 350–550 MPa yield, 500–700 MPa tensile, ≥40 J at –40 °C; weldability CEV ≤ 0.40, hardness 120–190 HB. Vacuum degas keeps H ≤ 2 ppm, inclusion rating ≤ 1.0 ASTM E45. 100 % UT EN 10228-2 Class 2 and MT ASTM E709 guarantee soundness.   Features As-forged skin 2–6 mm stock cuts machining time 25 %; fine grain ≤ 6, scale-free black surface protected with rust preventive oil for 6-month storage. Full 3.1/3.2 MTC, ABS/DNV/BV approval optional.   Applications Offshore riser hubs, pipeline flanges, pressure-vessel nozzles, wind tower flanges, shipbuilding stern tubes, pump and compressor shafts, general machined components requiring high toughness and easy welding.…
