Norepinephrine Bitartrate Product Name: Norepinephrine Bitartrate Indications:Norepinephrine bitartrate is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for certain hypotensive states, including those occurring during or following: Resection of pheochromocytoma Sympathectomy Poliomyelitis Spinal anesthesia Myocardial infarction Sepsis Hypotension due to blood transfusion or drug reactions It is also used as an adjunct in the management of cardiac arrest and severe hypotension. In cases of shock resulting from hypovolemia, this agent serves as a temporary supportive measure during emergency resuscitation to raise blood pressure and maintain cerebral and coronary perfusion until adequate fluid resuscitation takes effect.
