Single-component hot melt sealant, as the core material for insulating glass production, utilizes its 100% solid content feature to be precisely applied on the surface of Aluminum Spacer Bars through a hot-melt extrusion machine, forming a dense 0.2mm thick sealing layer that effectively blocks moisture infiltration and ensures stable thermal insulation performance of the insulating glass. Its unique thermoplastic formula allows the sealant to remain elastic in environments ranging from -40°C to 90°C and form chemical bonds with the anodized film of the aluminum spacer bars, eliminating the risk of delamination. Neutral silicone sealant serves as a second line of defense, filling tiny gaps between aluminum spacer bars and the glass substrate through its neutral curing technology.
