Leveler   Unflat steel strips? The leveler makes them flat – simply and reliably.   During rolling, transportation, or uncoiling, steel strips often develop edge waves, curls, or camber. The leveler is designed to solve these problems – it restores flatness and prepares the strip for subsequent forming, welding, and cutting.   ---   How It Works   Inside the leveler, multiple staggered leveling rolls work together. As the strip passes through the roll gap and undergoes repeated bending in opposite directions, internal stress is eliminated and the strip becomes flat.
