Hot Flying Saw The Hot Flying Saw is the "ultimate cutter" in metallurgical hot rolling lines, specifically designed to cut moving billets or profiles at high temperatures (800℃-1200℃). Unlike cold saws, it uses a high-speed rotating circular blade combined with a hydraulic tracking system, allowing the saw to "ride" on the fast-moving hot billet for cutting—resulting in smooth, burr-free, and non-deformed ends. The equipment mainly consists of the saw body, hydraulic clamping device, tracking carriage, and electrical control system. Its core advantages are high-temperature resistance and high synchronism, capable of precisely cutting billets moving at 3-6 m/s without stopping the line. It is a key finishing equipment in continuous casting/rolling, bar, section, and seamless pipe production lines.
